There is something so special about Fresh 48 sessions, I absolutely love getting to document this extremely intimate and significant moment in new parents’ lives. Fresh 48 sessions are a special photoshoot that takes place within the first two days after a baby is born, right in your hospital room. They’re all about capturing those very first moments as a new family, before you head home and experience the quiet chaos of newborn life.

I had the sweetest session recently with baby Ava Grace, who I got to meet when she was just a day old! She was absolutely adorable. Tiny, sleepy, and already so loved.

I also loved getting to take a few photos with Ava and her mom in their matching outfits! The outfits were such a cute touch. I know Antonia probably had those outfits picked out for months and was so looking forward to seeing her baby girl in it!

Fresh 48 sessions like this one are always some of my favorites. They’re relaxed, real, and full of those little moments you’ll want to remember forever, including the new baby yawns, the first cuddles, and all the love that fills the room.
